Ok, well first of all I really love this composition and the photo itself. The composition is lovely and interesting with a good balance in the frame. The slight shape on the right balances the interest between the baby, which actually works nicely. I really like the emotion that it portrays and the simple way that you have done this. The eye contact is brilliant. The focus on the eyes is simply spot on and I think that technique wise - this photograph is fabulous. I also love the skin tones that you have managed to use here.

I have some slight remarks to make really, which I think could improve this photograph. Well firstly, I think that the lighting is really good already, however the strong shadow on the right of the nose is slightly distracting. I also like the face expression, however I don't quite like the slight ripple on his forehead - I think that if it was smooth, it would look more natural for a baby. Another remark is that I wouldn't mix color and black and white - most of the time anyway. I feel, that it just distracts unnecessarily from the lovely face and the great eyes.

Now, I am also having second thoughts on the shape on the right. I am not sure whether it is good or not. The advantage of it is that it balances the composition, however if it wasn't there, the photo would also be very strong because more attention would be put on the boy and the model would simply stand out more.

Some fantastic work!
